Bath Time and the Ultimate Nerdy Mom
The ultimate nerdy mom. I have two kids in the bathtub, one doing laundry downstairs, one on the way to the store and one on the way to youth group and I am sitting on the floor in the bathroom trying to avoid the water that periodically spatters the room. I tried to read for a few minutes but that didn't work. I didn't want to get my book wet. So I grabbed my laptop. And here I am, listening to iTunes (Loreena McKennitt) and wirelessly uploading files to wiredchild.com. Probably the most amazing aspect of the whole scene is the two kids in the tub who just checked what I was doing and went back to blowing bubbles because having their mother typing on a laptop on the floor in the bathroom while they tubbed really wasn't all that remarkable. "Jeffrey's splashing..." Gotta go.
